Here it is, the mandatory World of Warcraft related posting that all Geekery related sites must make at some stage of their existence. I’m not sure how many World of Warcraft related sonnets exist in the world, but given its popularity, I’m sure there must be one or two kicking about. If anyone manages to dig any up please let me know.

These days, I’m fairly certain that World of Warcraft is more popular than sonnets on any subject (including World of Warcraft) these days. Shakespeare must be rolling in his grave, and even considering taking the durability hit to rez and unleash his pen of insight+12 on those ganking philistine hordies.

I still play, though less and less these days thanks to the usual time constraints that seem to swallow up most of daily life. Each and every night swallowed on it feels like an irretrievable waste of an evening that could have been spent doing something meaningful and constructive. However, this is tempered by the realisation that everything I do that appears meaningful and/or constructive at the time of doing eventually turns out to have been a total waste of time.

Time to raid I guess.
